comprehensive product life cycle support program. The program gives
you the opportunity to enjoy the lowest total cost of ownership as
you preserve your initial investment and maximize the useful life
of your Energy Management and Controls Systems (EMCS)
equipment.
Novar's proven track record of providing a 20+ year life cycle
program on our products stands as a testament to our commitment to
helping you get the greatest return on your investment. We provide
you with outstanding product support including our warranty and
Advance Exchange Return Material Authorization (RMA) Program;
extended support including patches and ongoing technical support;
and backward compatibility that provides product continuity
throughout a site life cycle.

Product Support
Novar's customers have long recognized the value of our long-term
product support program. This program offers:
Warranty
Every product Novar sells is covered by a two-year limited
hardware warranty.
RMA Program Novar's Return Material Authorization Program offers
the following:
- In-warranty products are replaced at no charge to the customer.
- Out-of-warranty products are replaced for a fraction of the sell price.
Software Updates
Updates to product software, including feature enhancements and
patches/fixes.
Technical Support
You have 24/7 access to our Network Operation Center.
Extended Product Support
Novar appreciates the sizable investments our customers make in
our technology. We help them preserve those investments by
providing long-term support that maximizes product life. Our
long-term support plan covers products no longer available for sale
in the following ways:
RMA Support
For a minimum period of three (3) years following the product's
remove-from-sale date, Novar will continue to support in- and
out-of-warranty return.
Product Software Patches/Fixes
For a minimum period of five (5) years following the product's
remove-from-sale date, Novar offers product patches for all
severity-level-one issues, at no charge to the customer.
Technical Support
For as long as the product is in use in a customer's facility,
Novar offers technical support, regardless of age or product
status.
New Product Continuity
Novar stands on the cutting edge of technology, and we're
dedicated to helping our customers leverage the latest advances. As
we develop and apply new technologies, we build in backward
compatibility so that your seasoned equipment can adopt the new
technology. Again, our promise to you is that we will help you
preserve your investment and get the absolute strongest performance
from your Novar products.
For example, Opus technology has been developed to be compatible with legacy Novar equipment. As a Novar customer, you can upgrade to this state-of-the-art building automation system for a low up-front cost. You'll continue to leverage 80% to 90% of your existing investment in controls, sensors, wiring, and installation, while enjoying the benefits of the most advanced technology available.
